Announcements & Events
EL Night is February 7th @ 6:30-8pm EL Night is Required for Fourth Graders. If you have a scheduling conflict, please let me know ASAP. What is EL Night? Named after EL Education, EL Night is a long standing City View tradition of celebrating learning. Each crew showcases their high quality final product or performance as well as their process and educational journey. It is our biggest event of the year and we are very proud to celebrate our learning! Why? EL Night gives parents and other visitors a better understanding of our school community and our program. It allows students to feel a great sense of pride while sharing their learning process and their high quality work with their guests. Who? We aim for 100% participation from our students and families. Research shows that parental involvement in schools helps students achieve more and helps schools thrive. Siblings, grandparents, family guests as well as community members are all invited. When and where? Feb 7, 2018 6:30-8:00pm. The evening will begin right at 6:30pm with an introduction in the Multipurpose Room in Building 4. Then families will be invited to walk through the school and view and interact with the students and their work. | Auction News Our annual auction will be held at Meriwether Golf Club on April 21st, 2018. We are in the process of procuring donations for the auction. We have several donations that need to be picked up from businesses. If you can help with this, please contact Dawn Florida at [email protected]. |
