Announcements & Events
Field Work: May 10th & 11th
Oregon Trail Outdoor School: On May 10th & 11th, fourth grade students will travel to Camp Kuratli at Trestle Glen in Boring, Oregon. In order to make this trip a success, WE NEED DRIVERS & CHAPERONES. We are required to bring no more than 1 parent for every 5 students. We will be sleeping in cabins and beds are limited.
Please note: female parents will need to sleep in female cabins; and male parents will need to sleep in male cabins.
If you are available/interested in joining us, please let me know ASAP. If more than 4 parents are available, then we will complete a lottery in order to select chaperones in a way that feels fair. Priority may be given to parents you have not yet had an opportunity to chaperone a trip.
We will also need support in gathering materials for the trip. Specifically, we need 24 small glass jars AND we will need to make 6-8 "hobo stoves" (the camp has specific directions). If you would like to take the lead on gathering/creating these materials. Please let me know via email.
